The YaGee Story

Designed for Real Life

It started with a simple goal:
finding better flow in everyday life.

Years ago, I was working long hours as a product designer. Like many parents, I was constantly balancing work, deadlines, and family time. I wanted to be more focused during the day so I could close my laptop earlier and spend real time with my kids.

So I began designing small tools for myself—things that made work feel better and more organized. That’s how Yagee first started: simple desk products that helped people work comfortably and stay focused.

But becoming a parent changed everything.

When Your Priorities Change

As my children grew up, I started thinking about a different kind of design challenge.

The hardest thing to design in modern life isn't a product.

It's time with our kids.

Like many parents, I noticed how easy it is for families to get pulled in different directions. Work gets busy, screens take over, and meaningful moments together become harder to protect.

I wanted to build products that helped families reconnect in simple ways.

That idea shaped what Yagee is today.

Two Sides of Childhood

When I thought about the moments that matter most with kids, I kept coming back to two very different experiences.

Both are equally important.

The Energy of Play

Kids need movement, excitement, and adventure.
That’s why we created products that encourage outdoor play and friendly competition—things that get kids off the couch and into real-world fun.

Running around together, strategizing, laughing, and celebrating wins.

Those moments build confidence, teamwork, and memories.

The Quiet of Storytime

But childhood also has another side.

The quiet moments.

Bedtime stories.
Sitting together.
Sharing imagination.

When I started looking for personalized storybooks for my kids, I realized something disappointing.

Most “custom” books weren’t really custom.

They simply replaced a name inside a generic template.

As a parent, that felt… a little empty.

Kids deserve more than that.

Why We Created Yagee Storybooks

We wanted to create storybooks that feel truly personal.

Books where a child doesn't just see their name in the story—but actually feels like the hero.

Stories that encourage values like:

  • courage

  • kindness

  • curiosity

  • resilience

Stories that help children see themselves as capable, brave, and loved.

Because when a child sees themselves in a story, something powerful happens.

They believe in it.

And they believe in themselves.

Built With a Parent’s Standard

At Yagee, every product we create passes a simple test:

Would I proudly give this to my own children?

If the answer isn’t yes, we keep improving it.

Because the goal isn’t just to sell products.

The goal is to create things that make family life more meaningful.

Our Mission

Yagee exists to support modern families.

Sometimes that means tools that make work easier.

Sometimes it means a storybook that becomes part of your child’s bedtime routine.

But the purpose is always the same:

To help parents create moments that matter.

Because in the end, those are the memories our kids carry with them.
